HI! I’m Liv.

I’m a midwest documentary style Family photographer based in Bismarck, north Dakota.

I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Olivia, but you can call me Liv. I’m a wife and mama living in gorgeous North Dakota. I started taking photos in 2017, and now I get to call being a photographer my job!

I’m a big fan of authenticity, intentionality, capturing feelings through photos & I think humans are the best art in the world! My goal is for you to see yourself the way I do: beautiful!

I have a cute husband, Ty, the best & busiest toddler ever - James, & two cute (and annoying) cats. I drink way too much coffee, impulse buy clothes a lot, and love Jesus more than anything!

It’s a dream to be able to call this my career - it sure doesn’t feel like work to me! Photography has always given me the opportunity to dig into all my big feelings and I’m so grateful for everyone who has made this dream a reality for me!

 FAQs

  • It depends on the type of session! Sessions an hour or shorter will typically take me about two-four weeks to edit!

  • I’m going to pick all the best ones we took and edit them carefully for ya! You can expect about 60-100 for sessions less than an hour!

  • Nope, because then you’d only be getting half the art!

  • Yes, but I’m picky! (I have a little guy who needs my attention haha!) Travel is included for small weddings or elopements, and I will travel a reasonable distance for other sessions if it works for my schedule!

  • I want to capture your family as it exists right now, in this moment. We won't do a lot of posing, but we will do a lot of playing, laughing, crying (you know how kids are), and just living! I like to focus on the candid, and do away with "perfection."
